2026 Sonara/Chameleon Concert
What an incredible evening of music this was. It feels like there are so many thank yous to say for some fabulous performances by both choirs and Nicki and or accompanist Lorna who made an amazing debut for Sonara. It certainly felt that it was a great start to our 90th anniversary performances.
Jenni from Belper’s Air Ambulance store, provided all of us with lots of information regarding the great work that that Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance do and we hope to have raised lots of funds for them. We will keep you updated but we definitely think that a great evening was had by all who attended.
An audio recording of the concert is placed below for listening.

Singing in a choir, especially Sonara Singers is great for mental and physical health. Our Musical Director provides training on vocal health which is great fun and definitely helps us enjoy rehearsals. The friendship of being part of something bigger, making music together is amazing and we love to share what we do for the benefit of the communities that we live in.

If you’re thinking of doing something different this year – please come and join us. If you want to hear us first, we have two amazing concerts coming up – details for both our events in March are here on the website.
