“Glorious” – that was the word used by Morriston Orpheus Male Voice Choir to describe our joint concert at Cavendish Hall Chatsworth and we absolutely agree. Our compere for the evening, Richard Moulder, was eloquent and witty with his introductions and we were treated to items in Welsh and a fabulous medley of contemporary songs by Welsh artists as well as part of Morriston Orpheus’s set. It was a great programme that complimented our own. The joint choir finale of “You Raise Me Up” was really something to behold and was a fitting piece that celebrated voices in harmony and the joy of singing. A special mention has to go to our MD Nicola Hunt who blew everyone away with her amazing vocal talent and also to our accompanist Lorna Flear with a mesmerising piano solo as well as an incredibly skilled performance throughout.

It was a truly memorable evening of music that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to everyone involved.
